Though distance meant opportunities to meet up were few and far between, each time we did provided memories that still have the power to make us smile. From "Hello my biiiird!", to laughing as she hitched up her skirt and set off energetically up Turnchapel Hill after a family meal, heartily encouraging us all to do the same! More recently, happily being able to spend a couple of occasions chatting and eating, it was soon obvious Aunty Betty had lost none of her positive and humorous nature, and she still carried that wonderful energy about her.
